They are still building the arena). My very tolerant wife who waits for me about every other step, and who has let me credit card five Rising shows, is only going to have one chance and this is it. I need a good pair in front of the stage for myself and her, a GM single for a friend who is driving all night to wait all day, and another decent pair for a couple of newbies whom I've been raving to about Bruce since I've known 'em - about the Ghost tour, when our now six year old daughters were born. Just FYI, the show is technically not sold out; they still have singles for $55, third level behind the stage. I just can't risk a mitigated experience for any of these people; silly as it sounds, they are going to like Bruce or not, based on this experience. Thanks for keeping me in mind. I have to tell a quick story. I was looking for Detroit and Cleveland singles this past summer, shows 4 and 5. I had good luck on Detroit but the Cleveland guy briefly reneged when I suggested that his demand that I pay before he shipped was in poor taste. I wrote a subsequent post called "A Tale of Two Cities: the best of times, the worst of times." The guy who reneged immediately apologized; we met before the Cleveland show and all went well. My faith was rewarded then, and ... I posted looking for a Charlotte single and the same guy had one he couldn't use and sent it to me gratis. He wouldn't even accept shipping $$. Super nice guy. Two lessons: 1) Don't judge people too quickly; and 2) you meet the nicest people in Luckytown. Well, I'd like to invite this gentleman down as my guest to attend the Duluth show on February 28.
