The Houston show is finally starting to make it rounds, and Charlotte can't be far behind. It looks like the one show that cannot be found anywhere is Lexington, KY. Security was tight in that you had to lift you clothes and empty your pockets, but there were no metal detectors, so surely someone was able to tape this show. I will soon have every Rising show but Lexington. Anyone who can point me in the right direction will be heavily rewarded. I had kids at the show. They did not get to sing, but Bruce read on of their signs aloud. I have a copy for them(and me) as a keepsake. Not to mention, I am dying to hear Bruce say "Bruce, you da man, hmm" once more, along with the long awaited "Streets" and the always powerful "Racing". ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Dec 2002 01:28:50 EST From: Eeeestreetband@aol.com Subject: Re: LuckyTown Ads Digest V9 #350 In a message dated 12/30/02 12:11:53 AM Central Standard Time, owner-luckytown-ads-digest@luckytown.org writes: > )I just bought a DVD player with what I thought covered all the > bases,i.e.DVD,CD,CD-R,CD-RW,VCD,etc.,etc. but it doesn't read the Lonesome > Day > video from the CD single,or the video extras from my daughter's Avril > Lavigne > CD. > Aren't those considered VCD's? > > 2)If someone burns a DVD onto CD-R's is that considered a VCD and most > importantly would it play on a DVD player? > i believe these are video files meant to played in a computer only. just because its video...doesnt make it a vcd..therefore they wont play on home based dvd players. vcds must be " vcd compliant" to be real vcds that will play in most newer dvd players. same with super vcds (SVCD) Larry [text/html attachment deleted] ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Dec 2002 01:33:56 EST From: Tigger165@aol.com Subject: bruce for counting crows?
