Best wishes to Bruce, his family, the E Strret band and their families, and all of the "LTD family" for a 2003 that treats us all kindly! I also have a specific request for a few seconds of time related to trading CDs. I always request and always extend the outgoing courtesy for a very brief email upon receipt of discs. The USPS does a great job, but it is still a little like sending something into a black hole. I drop a quick note saying "Thanks, I received the discs" just to provide peace of mind to the sender that his part of the transaction is complete. I hope for the same action when I send something out, but have been sorely disappointed with transactions during the last couple of weeks. During the holiday crunch, the extra minute seemed to be more important with the heavy USPS load. I currently have a couple of trades in process where I have sent my part and do not know for sure if it was received. All trades I have made with fans through LTD or RMAS have been completed satisfactorily, so that in itself is not my primary concern. Bottom line, extend some courtesy to those you are dealing with to let them know that you have received their shipment. It shouldn't even need to be requested.
