I think sufficient time has passed for myself to start seeking good sounding Rising shows. I'm a long time collector, and though I haven't started collecting from this tour yet, I have hundreds of shows to offer from the Reunion Tour clear back to the late '60s. In particular, I'd love to find high quality recordings of the shows I attended in 2002, which were Chicago, Cinci, Lexington, Columbus and Indianapolis. I'm still looking for Louisville from the Ghost of Tom Joad tour as well. Any help would be appreciated. Let's trade! Thanks, Kevin - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. After almost 18 years I'm STILL looking for a good copy of the above. I have some good stuff on CD as well as some rare posters for trading if anyone out there has a high-quality copy. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks--Kirk ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Jan 2003 17:37:02 -0500 From: "W. K. Mahler" Subject: Orlando 11/21/02 For Trade, Setlist Needed Greetings, I have just received a dynamite sounding Orlando show with the non damaged version of "The Rising" that is also available. THANK YOU:-)!!!!! I don't have the full setlist so would you direct me in the right way? It sound awesome for a bootleg. I only hope my Sony MZ - R700 MD recorders with a Sony Electronic Condenser Microphone for the MD can do as well. So far so good. The Rising is almost over, here comes the big question, is there gaps between tracks? Well between that song and an awesome leap into Lonesome Day there was no gaps whatsoever. Anyway, consider it up for trade only. I seek more Springsteen shows from the Born In The U. S. A., The River, Darkness On The Edge Of Town, Born To Run, The Wild Innocent & The E Street Shuffle and of course Greetings From Asbury Park. Anyone have Steel Mill in nice audio, remastered digital preferred on all those requests? That is what I've done to my collection using Soundforge 5, dbPowerAMP & Nero 5. Man what a screaming and scorching solo that was during Lonesome Day. Bruce sound in top form and that is putting it well the word doesn't explain Bruce Springsteen all encompassing. Recently I've written two article of interest to members of the U. S. federal, state and local members as well as many culture groups around the world about Bruce Springsteen, Queen and current world events. You may find them at both www.mahlers.com/womp.htm and www.queenonline.net. "Queen & Springsteen" and "Music Speaks Internationally". No Retreat with a whole new intro is at the quarter mark and sounds fresh. Maybe Bruce forgot a word. Yep, skipped "we" out of "made a promise" or else my attention was elsewhere, NOT. Still there is energy in this performance and a sincerity too that I have always accepted from Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. My complete list is at www.mahlers.com/list.htm Check out Musicality while your at it too. Plenty of original demos recorded in the first take, for the first time, any time in front of a live audience. Bruce Springsteen & Queen influenced to the core I am. www.mahlers.com/musicality.htm www.queenonline.net/musicalitymp3.htm. Sailing into the new! Aren't those considered VCD's? 2)If someone burns a DVD onto CD-R's is that considered a VCD and most importantly would it play on a DVD player? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!! He knows and likes the music- just not as much as me. So after months of trying to convince him that the Bruce experience is different up front and personal, he has agreed he would be willing to take an extra day off work and stand in line for two days to have the GA experience IF we can do it in Providence which does not involve airfare and long travel (we live on Cape Cod). I FINALLY have my chance to be in the pit WITH HIM and hope he is truly converted. The problem - TICKETS of course - like many others I was totally shut out. If anyone can help me with one or two extra GA's I will be eternally grateful- don't own a burner but would give away a boot if that helped, or can copy VCR shows on tape.
