[text/html attachment deleted] ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Jan 2003 23:01:10 -0500 From: "Stephen Mazur" Subject: Two questions I posted these two questions to the LTD proper a while back, but since the LTD seems to be in hibernation - and this winter, who can blame it -- I thought I'd try putting them in the Ads Digest. Question 1. At the Albany show Bruce introduced "Mary's Place" by singing a verse of Sam Cooke's "Meet Me At Mary's Place." He didn't do this on either of the previous two shows I've been at on this tour (NYC and Boston), nor have I heard of him doing it on other occasions. Anyone know whether this was unique, or has he done it in other shows? Question 2. I've asked this a number of times in the past -- probably about once a year -- and have never received an answer. Time to give it another shot. The beautiful and very catchy vamp that David Sancious plays to link "Incident On 57th Street" and "Rosalita" -- is this a lift from a classical piece (could easily be Bach, for example); or something written by Springsteen and/or Sancious; or a Sancious improvisation; or something else?
