I cannot and will not referee disputed transactions, and do not want this list used to dispute sales/trades. You're on your own; protect yourself as you would when buying anything from any stranger on the internet. It's rare for people to get cheated here, but it has sometimes happened. Please take any disputes to private mail or to newsgroup rec.music.artists.springsteen. If this list starts getting abused with "bad trader alerts" and the like, I will shut it down. Note 2: NO TICKET SCALPING! If selling tix, state the price. I'm an attorney, and although copyright law is nowhere close to my specialty, I can tell you that there IS a difference between selling boots for a profit and trading. The criminal copyright statute (i.e., where the government can prosecute you and put you in jail or make you pay a fine) requires profit before there is a crime. << Gotta join the fray on this one, and I've gotta back up Jerry. Profit doesn't have to be involved to make unauthorized copying a crime. Maybe it's a different LEVEL of crime, but it's still a crime. People are dealing with this on college campuses constantly now....can teachers make multiple copies of a book (or a story, or a magazine article) to pass out for free (for educational purposes) in a classroom? The answer is no. There are definite, defined, legal limits. Same with copyrighted music. Furthermore, a ticket for a concert is like a contract between the performer and the attendee.
