Here's a family picture from 1998: my son Brian, me (Kevin), my wife Debra, and my daughter Kayla...

Unfortunately, my dog and longtime friend Woody passed away in March after 16.5 good years. He used to keep me company in the wee hours when I generally work on LuckyTown, and is greatly missed.

• Location: Naperville IL.
• Birthdate: 5/28/60.
• Education: B.S. Computer Science '82, Masters C.S. '94, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lots of people ask me about the University of Virginia, since that was where the old backstreets list was, but I've never even been to Virginia.
• Occupation: Senior Engineering Manager at Motorola, working on platforms to support speech recognition and wireless web applications on the Internet.
• Hobbies: Running oddball mailing lists, martial arts (recommended for any Internet moderator), Texas Holdem (poker), videogames, collecting Springsteen audio/video.
